He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Garnes; his former wife Rebecca Garnes (Pisco); and his brother Gilbert "Sonny" Garnes. He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Garnes (Fraser) of Norwalk; and his children, Angela Sehlmeyer (Joel) of Norwalk, Christine Earl (Robert) of Norwalk, Russell Larson (Robin) of Berlin Heights and Richard Larson (Kristin) of Norwalk. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
