It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mel Keefer of Norwalk, Ohio, born in Greenwich, Ohio, who passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Keefer and Mildred Keefer (White); and his siblings, Richard, Lyle, Carrol, Dale, Maurice, Virginia Dole, Bernard and Bernadette Keefer.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Y. Keefer (Albright) of Norwalk; his children, Alice Appeman (Ron) of Norwalk, Mark Keefer of Norwalk, Sandy Wurmser (Kevin) of Bellevue, Jacqueline Desmond (Gary) of Monroeville and Jeffrey Keefer (Tammy Bechtler) of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Michael, Kyle, Brad, Todd, Mandi and Amber; his great grandchildren, Brent, Mitchell, Kayla, Kira, Hunter, Melana, Jordyn, Evelyn, Jacob, Myla and Macie; and his brother Ben Keefer (Gert) of Willard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
