Msgr. Charles E. Singler wrote a sympathy message

“I have the distinguished honor of being a "godson" to Mary Lou. Her passing at this challenging time makes the loss and sorrow most heavy, especially from a distance. Yet, I do not think that her passing on "Mother's Day", was simply a coincidence. It was providential! While we are saddened, the Lord was smiling while telling her "well done, good and faithful servant". Love and prayers to my cousins, her children, spouses. God be your consolation and peace. Monsignor Charles E. Singler”
