She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermann Schad and Luise Schad (Diller); her husband Ulrich "Uli" Mangold; and her sisters, Luise, Emma and Trudel.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Mangold (Pam) of Norwalk, Barb Knapp (John, Jr.) of Shreve, Carol Petersen (Kenn) of Huron and Rose Hauler (Richard) of Norwalk; her grandchildren, Sheila, AJ (Cassie), Jeremy, Heidi, Amy (Tom) and Rick (Angie); and her sister Gudrun Boettinger of Germany. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
