He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorothy, Willard Jr., Shirley Malin (Robert), Billy, Robert Walker, Keith Werner, Patricia Loolen, Charles "Sonny" Werner and Rick Werner.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Werner (Walker) of Norwalk; his children, Lori Galindo (Martin) of Norwalk and James C. Werner of Michigan; his grandchildren, Adelaide, Isabella, Rafael and Javier Galindo; his stepgrandson Cody Hartman; and his foster sister Susan Smith (James) of Norwalk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
