It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Coates (Norwalk, Ohio), born in Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on September 9, 2019, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Francis and Catherine Genevieve Coates (Montell); and his siblings, Patricia and Richard Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Donna Coates (Davitz); his daughter Laura Adams (Chris) of Sandusky; his granddaughters, Genevieve, Gabriella and Catherine; and his brother David Coates (Hui-Sun) of Lawton, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 2 nieces, a great niece and nephew and his beloved dog.
