It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Lane of Norwalk, Ohio, born in Oil City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lane and Mary Lane (Woodruff); his siblings, Joanne Robison and William F. Lane; and his sister-in-law Mardelle Shively.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Sherman); his children, Michael (Lisa), Steven (Karen) of Norwalk, Linda (Karl Sutter) and Lisa of Columbus, Ohio; and his sister Peg McFate of Oil City, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
