John M. Hofacker Obituary
We bid farewell to John M. Hofacker of Norwalk, Ohio, born in Monroeville, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 27, 2024 at the age of 96. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Hofacker and Loretta Hofacker (Obringer); his wife Therese Hofacker (Kocher); his brothers, Robert, Thomas and James; and his grandson Brian Coder.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Bell (John), James Hofacker (Sarah), Julie Leibold (Kevin) and Sharon Hurley (Dave); and his grandchildren, John Hofacker, Amy Smiley, Jason Leibold, Sean Coder, Kristin Leibold, Leah Ahern and Brian Hurley. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home (98 W Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church (38 W League St, Norwalk, OH 44857). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (38 W League St, Norwalk, OH 44857).
