He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Thurston (Johnson); and his brothers, David Thurston and Joseph Thurston. He is survived by: his children, Josh Thurston (Becky Boone) of Toledo, Jay Curtis Thurston of Norwalk, Kelly Frey (Bill) of Tuscon and Kristi Wyant (Ray) of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Alana, Alexa, Summer, Gavin, Ella, Luke, Clara and Jacob; the mother of his children Mary Beth Dunham of West Salem; and his siblings, Marcus Thurston of Sandusky, Elida Jean Snyder of Norwalk, Robert Thurston of Crystal Rock, John Thurston (Bev) of Monroeville, Ruth Anne Blackburn of Utah, James Thurston of Toledo and Kathy Larsen of Utah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
