She was predeceased by: her parents, Arley Adams and Estie Adams; her husband Edward Vargo; her son Barry Hensley; her siblings, James "Joe" Adams, Virginia Sanderson and Greta Dick; and her brother-in-law Roger Dick.

She is survived by: her son Jay Hensley (Theresa) of Fremont; her grandchildren, Erin Voland (Matt) of Franklin, IN and Amanda Vecchio (Matt) of Twinsburg; her great grandchildren, Malia, Jordyn and Amaya; her sisters, Glenda Smith (Merrill), Patricia Nation and Avis Kreais (Dennis); and her siblings-in-law, Alice Adams and Charles Sanderson.
