He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Daniel (Christian) and James O. Daniel; his former wife Rose Gates Daniel; his son Robert A. Daniel; and his brother Roger Daniel.
He is survived by: his friends, Jim and Sharon Jerome; his wife Rachel Hedrick Daniel of Chandler, Arizona; his children, Susan Homan (David) of Willard, Dennis Daniel (Shelly) of Willard and Laura Butler (Mark); his stepsons, Dustin Hedrick (Jen) of Queen Creek and Drew Hedrick of Tempe, Arizona; and his siblings, Brenda Hawks (Donald) of Beckley, Tom Daniel of Bluefield and Steve Daniel (Dena) of Chillicothe, Ohio. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
