She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Scheid and Grace Scheid (Gamble). She is survived by: her husband William Downing of Norwalk; her children, Jason Downing of Norwalk, Susan Null (Homer) of North Fairfield and Jennifer Downing of Norwalk; and her siblings, Brian Scheid (Claire) of Norwalk, Steven Scheid (Janey) of Milan, Kathryn Poyer (Joel) of Berlin Heights and Daniel Scheid (Annette) of Norwalk. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
