She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Hackathorn; her parents, Phillip Ruffing and Olivia Ruffing (Wise); her siblings, Cecilia Ruffing and Francis Ruffing; her son-in-law Joel Nickoli; her siblings-in-law, Marie Ruffing and David Roth; her niece Eileen Ruffing; and her nephew Anthony Ruffing.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Young (Roy), Mary Nickoli, Michael Hackathorn (Paula), Cecilia Blevins (Wendell) and Teresa Hansen (Eric); her grandchildren, Sara Worley (Mark), Meredith Hackathorn, Clint Nickoli (Amanda), Thomas Hackathorn (Marisa), Hannah Jacobs (Andrew), Henry Hansen (Lea), Clay Nickoli, Hollis, Hope, Helen, HollyAnne and Hyacinth Hansen; her great grandchildren, Mark, Phillip, Evelyn Worley, Millicent, Joel Nickoli, George Hansen and Noah Hackathorn; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Abigail and Wesley Jacobs; her siblings, John Ruffing and Magdaline Roth; and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn Ruffing and Dennis Hackathorn (Stephanie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church or Norwalk Catholic Schools.
