He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stierhoff and Elsie Stierhoff (Stacker); his wife Gladys Stierhoff (Nickoli); his siblings, Johnny Stierhoff and Gladys Drake; his son-in-law David Gerber; and his grandson Steven Gerber.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Gerber of Monroeville, Margie Simon (Howard) of Norwalk and Ron Stierhoff (April) of The Colony, Texas; his sisters, Beulah Kelbley of Burgoon and Loretta Gerber (Marvin) of Castalia; his grandchildren, Brian Gerber (Melissa), Angela Gies (Brett), Trent Gerber, Shondra Mattos (Adam), Sabine Stierhoff and Monique Overs (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Emmalyn, Arianna, Halo and Neveah.
