He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Zimmerman and Clara Zimmerman (Burgel); and his siblings, Edwin, Donald, Herman, Raymond, Alfred, Bernard "Bernie", Mildred Miller, Pauline Smith and Mary Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his brother Richard Zimmerman (DeEtte) of Norwalk; and his friend Al Lesch (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
