With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glen E. Bernhardt of Norwalk, Ohio, born in Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on July 25, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bernhardt and Hazel Bernhardt (Shrewsberry). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Bernhardt (Morrow); his daughters, Phoebe VanZoest of Sandusky, OH and Barbara McCormick of Vermilion, OH; his grandchildren, Hazel and Ivy McCormick; and his brothers, Larry Bernhardt of Waverly, OH and Stan Bernhardt of Norwalk, OH..
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his name to Back To The Wild Rehabilitation Center in Castalia, OH, and the Milan-Berlin Library District (donations can be made at either the Milan Public Library or the Berlin Public Library) for the foundation of bird-watching and astronomy kits to be circulated to patrons.
