He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Schloesser and Isabelle Schloesser (Berger); his wife Barbara Schloesser (Nofzinger); his sisters, Agnes and Patti; and his brother-in-law Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Pressly (Tony) of Norwalk, Gerald Schloesser (Debbie) of Evansville, IL, Vicki Linder (Marvin) of Wakeman and Roger Schloesser (Anna) of Norwalk; and his siblings, Wayne Schloesser (Donna) and Kathy Gentz (Gary). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
