It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Mitro of Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Mitro to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mitro and Mary Mitro; and his siblings, Paul and Ann. He is survived by: his daughter Handicraft Headquarters; his wife Margaret A. "Marge" Mitro of Norwalk; his children, Ruthanne Phillips of Acton, George E. Mitro of Fort Worth, Donna M. Mitro of Norwalk and Mary C. Leuschel (Brian) of Berea, Ohio.; his grandchildren, George, Jessica, Megan and Marissa; his great grandchild Michael; and his sister Mary Kosko of New Jersey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitors are also encouraged to wear a mask and practice all social distancing and mass gathering guidelines.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 55 Whittlesey Ave. Norwalk, Ohio 44857 or St. Paul Catholic Church.

“I was sorry to hear of Mr. Mitro's passing I knew him for a lot of years from Handicraft Headquarters. I enjoyed talking to him and listening to his stories. He was also a lot of help with his advise on cake decorating problems. I was sad to see them retire and close the store. My sympathy to Mrs. Mitro and the family”
