It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Marion of Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Marion to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George O. Marion and Florine E. Marion (Harrison); and his sisters, Phyllis Spencer, Marjorie Harper and Shirley Sutherland.

He is survived by: his brother Dennis O. Marion (Linda); and his niece Leslie Campbell-Thompson. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

“To the family of George “Pepper” Marion, I had the privilege of knowing George when I worked at Norwalk Memorial Home. His smile could light up a room and he loved going to see the Indians play at Jacob’s Field. George was a kind and quiet man, but he knew all the trivia answers when we played as a group. I pray that he is at peace and wanted to convey my sadness at hearing of his passing. Susan Jones”
