He was predeceased by: his parents, George Austin and Lois Austin (Blanton). He is survived by: his wife Karen Austin (Libbee); his children, Tara Hancock (Jim), Tracy Fowler (Krista), Pam Arney (Rob) and Cindy Choudhry (Kareem); his grandchildren, Tyler Hollis, Austin Hancock, Alex Hancock, Sydney Fowler, Marissa Fowler, Cameron Arney, Maverick Arney, Tanner Choudhry, Hunter Choudhry, Walker Choudhry and Summer Choudhry; his great grandchildren, Owen and Liam; and his siblings, Steve Austin (Rose), Dave Austin (Terri), Kathy Walters (Brian) and Melanie Burke (Allen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
