He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl S. Lau and Clara Lau (Landoll); his former wife Margaret Lau (Mitchell); his son C. Fred Lau Jr.; and his brother Carl Lau.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lau (Wise); his children, Kelli Cross (Doug), Charles Lau (Ann) and Carl Lau; his daughter-in-law Lisa Lau; his grandchildren, Cody Lau, Chris Lau, Victoria Lau, Ashley Lau, Brandon Lau, Dylan Lau, Zach Lau, Charlie Lau Jr., Brooke Lau and Tiffany Lau; and his brother Dennis Lau. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
