He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Reer and Christine Reer (Eslinger); his wife Diane Marie (Keller); his siblings, Elizabeth Houghtlen and Douglas Reer; and his grandsons, Derek and Daniel Ring.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Ring (Donald) and Frederick G Reer Jr. (Lorinda); his sisters, Debra Bell (John) and Janice Russ; his grandchildren, David Ring (Lisa), Stephanie Ring, Fred Reer and Paul Reer; his great grandchildren, Gage, Emily, Cole, Van, Draven, Zoey, Alliyah, Cutter, Jeremiah, Summer and Jasmine; and his great great grandchild Ace.
A wake was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel (16 Cooper St, Wakeman, OH 44889). Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel (38 South St, Berlin Heights, OH 44814). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (77 South St, Berlin Heights, OH 44814).
