“Frank Valenza was one of the Great American Restauranteurs. He opened the Palace Restaurant in the early 1970's, which was the very first eatery that charged $100:00 per diner for a Prix Fixed meal! which was well worth the money. He insisted that his menu offered all of the finest dishes, which included Chateaubriand, Beluga Caviar and of course, fresh Oysters. I have very fond memories of him since he hosted my engagement party at the Poof of the Pudding to Frances de Montfalcon in 1979.”
