Evelynne (Kline) B. Logan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelynne B. Logan (Norwalk, Ohio), born in Clyde, Ohio, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 87. She lived in Debary, FL for the last six years so she could be close to where her children resided, however she spent most of her life in Norwalk, OH. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Evelynne graduated in 1951 from York High School and in 1953 Tiffin University where she took secretarial/business classes.
She was predeceased by : her husband of 56 years, Gene L. Logan; her parents, Karl L. Kline and Maye A. Kline (Heath); her children, Wanda G. Logan of Norwalk and infant son, Stephen Logan; along with her siblings, John, Karl, James (Jim), Robert Kline (Bob), Anna Rose Ulmer, Mary Reynolds (Marie) and Lucy KIine.
She is survived by her children, Susan Logan of Sanford, Fla., Vivienne Logan of Sanford, Fla., Melody Logan (James Farr) of Land O' Lakes, Fla.. and Mark Logan (Mayumi) of Auburndale, Fla.; along with her grandchildren, Steven Kirk, Robert Kirk, Lauren Webber, Blair Logan Arroyo and Mark Logan, Jr.. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
She spent much of her time cooking, baking, freezing and canning vegetables/fruits from their large garden. Evelynne was very proud of her beautiful collection of antique dishes inherited from her mother/grandmother with many of them being hand painted.
She enjoyed playing Scrabble, listening to big band music and was an avid reader. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended meetings in the Norwalk, OH and Debary, FL congregations. Psalm 23 was one of her favorite Bible passages.
She will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Halifax Health Hospice Care Center, 235 Booth Road, Ormond Beach Fla 32174 or to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & Northern Florida (granting wishes to terminally ill children).
Evans Funeral Home at 314 E. Main St. Norwalk, OH will hold visitation hours on Sunday, January 3, 2021 between 3 PM - 5 PM. The burial will be the next day, Monday, January 4, 2021 at York Chapel in York Township (Bellevue, OH) at 11:00 AM.
