It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Resor Sr. of Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Resor (Braden) and Carl Resor; his siblings, Bob Schaffer, Howard Resor and Vera Slagle; his siblings-in-law, Jack Penson, Gussie Resor and Emily Resor; and also Roy Resor.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Resor (Myers); his children, Douglas Resor Jr. (Pattie), Florian Resor, Ricky Resor (Katie), Sandy King (Keith), Danny Resor and Jimmy Resor (Becky); and his siblings, Frank, Martin, Tom Resor, Martha Resor, Betty Penson, Carol Tempe and Virginia Morris. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 4 – 7 p. m. Guests to the funeral home are reminded to bring and wear a mask and be prepared for the possibility of having to wait outside if current reduced capacity limits are exceeded until room becomes available. Social distancing and mass gathering guidelines will be observed.
