She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Schaffer; her daughter Susan Schaffer; and her siblings, Mildred Schneider, Robert, Charles and Norbert Mirtes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Schaffer of Fort Wayne and Mary Schaffer of Saint Joseph, Minnesota; and her siblings-in-law, Lucille Mirtes of Bellevue, Ohio, Leonard of Norwalk, Ohio and Alex Schaffer of Norwalk, Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitors are required to bring and wear a face mask or covering while inside the church and are encouraged to follow all social distancing and mass gathering requirements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Alphonsus Parish, Southern Care Hospice, Milan, Ohio, or North Central EMS, Milan, Ohio.
