He was predeceased by: his parents, Snowie Summerfield (Casto) and Romie L. Summerfield; his wife Kathleen Summerfield (Merwine); and his siblings, Bailey, Dorsel, Ray, Roy, Benjamin, Madge, Betty and Effie.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Robin Risner; his children, Peggy Ritchie (Walter) of Norwalk and Ronald Summerfield; and his siblings, Doris Schaffer and John Summerfield of Ashland, Ohio..

There will be a limited amount of people admitted inside at one time, but visitors are welcome to visit with family and friends outside of the home where social distancing and current guidelines are more practical.
