He was predeceased by: his former wife Marian Smith (Schwobel); his wife Helen Eby; and his brother Richard S. Smith. He is survived by: his children, Steve Smith (Janna) of Whitewater, WI, Ron Smith (Betsy) of Greenville, OH, Jeanne Leber (Ken) of Norwalk and Scott Smith (Tonda) of Peru; his siblings-in-law, Carl Schwobel (SuEllen) and Rosemary Mathews; his grandchildren, Brahm, Andrew, Alex, Leslie, Maggie, Stephanie, Matt, Kyle, Ben, Carl and Kathleen; and his pet Willy. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
