Corwin R. Funk Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corwin R. Funk of Norwalk, Ohio, born in New Haven, Ohio, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Funk and Amy Funk (Ross); his former wife Lucille Funk (Row); his son Timothy Allen Funk; and his brothers, Gerald Funk and Doyle "Dub" Funk.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Funk (Corry); his daughter Diane Shields (Larry) of Van Wert, Ohio; his daughter-in-law Marsha Funk of Westerville; his stepchildren, David Haines of North Fairfield, George Haines (Sue) of Norwalk and Diane Neiding of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Joshua Funk (Kara) of Perrysburg, Jessica Hodge (Dave) of Westerville, Amanda Nelis of Wisconsin and Brian Shields (Andrea) of Van Wert, Ohio; and his siblings, Doris Funk of Willard and Dewayne Funk of Troy, MI.. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; six step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren.
Per Haps wishes, there will be no calling hours and the family will have a private funeral service at a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Norwalk.
