He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thompson and Ortence Thompson; his wife Marguerite A. Thompson; and his granddaughter Celeste Barker. He is survived by: his children, Chuck, Debra Van Meter, Linda Friday, Sandra Thompson (Robert Logan), Valerie Williams (Glenn), Charles Thompson (Kay), William Thompson (Brenda) and Dwight Thompson (Dawn); and his brother Jack Thompson. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
