We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2022, Carol Stieber of Norwalk, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Ott and Mildred Ott; her siblings, Rita Stieber and Jim Ott; and her son-in-law Rick Schaffer.

She is survived by: her significant other Paul; her children, Cindy Cash (Perry Nelson), Kevin Stieber (Elaine), Debi Caldwell (Ted), Paula Hackathorn (Mike), Krista Smith (John), Bonnie Bollenbacher (Mike) and Lori Nickoli (Jeff); her grandchildren, Amelia Cash, Brooke Grobe, Eddie Stieber, Trisha Bauer, Lynsey Welfle, Meredith, Thomas Hackathorn, Olivia Ringenberg, Victoria Sparks, Jacob, Daniel, Colton Bollenbacher, Elise, Jaret, Luke and Tristan Nickoli; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Teagan Bauer, Elsie, Lottie, Kit Welfle, Magnolia and Gibson Ringenberg; her sister Betty Smith; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Stieber and James Stieber. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

“I was so saddened to hear about Carol! She was such a lovely lady inside and out! I have many great memories of her not only as a cousin but also years of 4-H. She and Rita selflessly led meetings, welcomed countless kids into their homes, gave me rides to and from the fair and activities (when my own mom was unable) and supported each of us on countless projects. She will truly be missed! I cannot make the services but my thoughts and prayers are with Paul and all the family.”
