He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Searls and Dorotha Searls (Fulton); his former wife Susie; his grandson Travis Cooper; and his great grandchild Jaiden Raistrick.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Frizzell; his daughters, Dalene Tiers (Jerrold) of St. Louis, Cynthia Howells of Norwalk and Dawna Cooper (Brian Braden) of Wakeman; his grandchildren, Jason Nickles (Angela) of Norwalk, Steffani Phillips (Cody) of Norwalk, Justin Cooper (Ashley) of Norwalk and Jessica Cooper of Toledo; and his sister Donna Waters of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
