She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Houghtlen and Donna Houghtlen (Farley); and her siblings, Kenneth Houghtlen Jr., Fred Houghtlen, Neva Houghtlen and Betty Houghtlen.

She is survived by: her close friend Oberlin L. Villarreal of Norwalk; her children, Daryl L. Houghtlen (Tanya) of London, Oberlin L. Houghtlen of Urbana, Tracy L. Martinez (Arturo) of Mexico, Neva J. Houghtlen (Kelly Childs) of Norwalk and Terry L. Houghtlen (Fawn Williams) of Norwalk; her grandchildren, Destiny, Liset, Ethan, Koen, Austin, Toby, Dalton, Jasmine, Isabella, Luis, David, Julia, Landyn and Julie; and her siblings, Florence Martinez (Vincent), Shirley Church (Jack), Mable Rossi and Dale Houghtlen (Fran). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
