He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Stafford and Rowena Stafford (Little); and his sister Charity. He is survived by: his wife Marcy; his children, Randy Stafford and Tammy Treen (Casey); his grandchildren, Thomas, Julia and Garrett; and his siblings, Tom (Diane), Paul (Cindy), Faith, Anita (Sam) and Mary.

Along with his parents, William is preceded in death by his sister, Charity.
