He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bachtel and Nettie Bachtel; and his siblings, Delores, Betty, Paul, Gayle and Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Bachtel; his daughter Kandy Jones; his son-in-law Rich Jones; his granddaughter Ilsa Jones; his daughter Sherrie Hayes; his son-in-law Tom Hayes; his grandchildren, Tommy Hayes and Hannah Hayes; and his siblings, Harold, Carl, Darlene, Marlene, Charlene and Jolene. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cox-McNulty Funeral Home (222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH 44203). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
