He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Bachman and Catherine Bachman; and his siblings, Darrell Bachman, Byron Bachman, Regina Brown and Sylvia Fry.

He is survived by: his siblings, Colleen Shankland (John) of Doylestown and Zane Bachman (Betty) of Rittman; and his close friend Tom Starcher of Norton.
