Basile (Norton, Ohio), born in Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. “Prayers for peace & comfort during this difficult time. I was so saddened to hear that Mr. Basile passed away. He was my band instructor at Central-Hower from 1984-1988. I was so nervous starting High School as a Freshman. It's always a time filled with mixed emotions for a new change. I started school earlier than most due to Marching Band camp. Having Mr. Basile as my first teacher interaction, made going to High School less scary. He has the most wonderful sense of humor! -Erin Callahan-Duff”
