He was predeceased by: his mother Eliza Higgins; and his wife Marilyn Diane Higgins. He is survived by: his father Eugene Higgins; his brother Billy G. Higgins; his daughters, Vickie Banks (Bryan) of Crestline, OH and Leslie Higgins of Lucas, OH; his brothers, Charles R. of Canal Fulton, OH and Robert D. of Akron, OH; his stepchild Russell Hall of Marion, OH; and his niece Melinda Higgins. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, other family member and friends.
