He was predeceased by: his significant other Mary; his parents, John Yarger and Lela Yarger; his siblings, Fred and Vivian; his grandson Denis Giroux; his great grandchild Brianna Yarger; and his son-in-law Stephen Farkas.
He is survived by: his children, John (Ruth), Janice (Daniel), Jim (Kathy), Dorothy, Rebecca (Eric), Christine (Steve), Brenda (Roger) and Mary (Dennis). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, John's family has requested that donations be made in his honor to the Wadsworth Church of the Nazarene Missions Program (nazarene.org/special-offerings).
