It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Russell Tanksley of Norton, Ohio, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Thadis Tanksley; and his grandparents, Russell and Harriet Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his son Corey Tanksley; his stepsons, Philip Ferguson IV and Michael Ferguson (Allison); his grandchildren, Jett and Scarlett Ferguson; his mother Carol Tanksley; his sisters, Bonnie Bertsch (Chuck), Mouricia Carbone (Joe) and Tina Figueroa (David); his niece Jessica Bertsch; his nephews, Johnny Bertsch (Randi), Nicholas Figueroa, Bailey Figueroa and Joseph Carbone; and his great-nephew Lincoln Bertsch.
