He was predeceased by: his mother Susie Pierson (Childers); his brother Mark; and his grandparents, Carl, Helen Childers, Ann, Frank Pile and George Famon Pierson.
He is survived by: his father Douglas Pierson of Falls View; his wife Sherrie; his sons, John Douglas (Hanna), Justin David and Famon Lewis (Sierra); his grandchildren, Peyton, Kenzie and Natalie; and his siblings, Stephanie of Gauley Bridge and Daniel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews along with aunts and uncles and cousins.
A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date due to COVID showing up uninvited.
