Daniel John Hoynes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2024, at the age of 81, Daniel John Hoynes (Norton, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hoynes and Vera Hoynes. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Sean Hoynes (Laura), Heather Saylor (Dale), Tim Hoynes and Patrick Hoynes (Amanda); his grandchildren, Allison McGhee (Tyler), Rachel Hoynes (Matthew York), Colleen Hoynes (Bradley Kohmann), Jack Hoynes, William Hoynes, Hannah Lockwood (TJ), Haleigh Saylor (Merrick Widdoes), Jared Hoynes, Sadie Hoynes, Tessa Hoynes, Charlie Hoynes and James Hoynes; his siblings-in-law, Jack Slinger, Kimberly Lammlein (Lenny) and Beth Duke (Don); his sister Mary Carol Grill; his brother-in-law Ray Farwell; his son Christopher; his siblings, Michael Hoynes and Kathleen Farwell; his brother-in-law Dan Grill; and also, Jack and Ruth Slinger. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ardmore Foundation , a non-profit close to Dan and Judy's hearts for the support they provided to their son Chris, or to 'St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , or a meaningful charity of one's choice in honor of Dan.
