With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clarence Everett Cockrell Jr. (Norton, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cockrell and Bertha Cockrell (Salyer); his wife Kay Dean Cockrell; his son Dennis Cockrell; his siblings, Gary Cockrell (Linda) and Betty Whipkey (Leon); and his brothers-in-law, Tom Stokes and Doug Fagan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Collins (Duane) and Vicki Jones (Harold); his grandchildren, Joshua Collins (Rachel) and Rachel Collins (Tom Hudnall); his great grandchildren, Gabi Collins and Cami Collins; and his siblings, Bonnie Stokes, Roberta Fagan, Dorothy Douglas, James Cockrell (Karen), Robert Cockrell and John Cockrell (Donna).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (3250 Greenwich Rd, Norton, OH 44203). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veteran's, (help.dav.org/donate), in memory of Clarence Cockrell.
