He was predeceased by: his parents, Novaline Weaver and Bledsoe; his wife Ruby Joyce Carr; his son Billy Carr; his siblings, James Carr and Marie Huth; and his stepfather Harley Weaver.

He is survived by: his daughter Diana Beatty (David); his grandchildren, Rhiana Brenner (Jon), Billie Rae Carr (Forrest) and Brandon Carr; his great grandchildren, Savannah Demarais (Craig), Josh Hiller and Ava Carr; and his sister Catherine First.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (3250 Greenwich Rd, Norton, OH 44203). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas.
