He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Kowalka and Suzanne Kowalka Jr. (Furrer); and his daughter Michelle Reed. He is survived by: his wife Tina Straub-Kowalka; his children, Angela Fowler (Troy) and Christopher Kowalka (Delia); his grandchildren, Trinity, Amy, Queenzy Denille, Mary, Mitchell, Veronica, Vincent, Troy and William; his brothers, Raymond (Polly) and Keith Kowalka; and the mother of his children Laura Cooper.

Memorial contributions are appreciated to Grace Bible Baptist.
