He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Menchaca (Garcia); his brother Steve Menchaca; and his children, Russ Menchaca, Randy Menchaca, Mark Menchaca (Kelly), Annie Menchaca-Bratton and Maria Menchaca. He is also survived by six children of his own with his wife of 69 years.
