He was predeceased by: his parent Betty-Jean Seem (Boyd); and his daughter Marissa Seem. He is survived by: his father Morris Seem; his sister Debra; his brother-in-law Kenneth Moore; his nephews, Chad, Craig and Curtis Thieman; and his great-niece Isla Thieman. He is also survived by his family and friends.
