With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen L. Duncan of Northwood, Ohio, born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Sarah Duncan; her parents, George "Pebo" Partin and Jaen Popp; her stepfather Alvin Popp; and her in-laws, Joan and Cathy Duncan.

She is survived by: her husband Don Duncan; her children, Josh Duncan (Kim) and Lauren Duncan; and her close friend Connie Schwiefert. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Athens Missionary Baptist Church.

“Her journey continues. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with her at The Pearson Center. She was a hard worker, and always had a positive attitude and a willingness to help others. She enjoyed sharing stories about her wonderful family, and often made yummy desserts to share with us. I have never heard anyone say anything negative about her! How could they.? She was loved and admired. A woman with a complete faith in God. Rest In Peace, my friend 🙏”
