He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Hostetter and Martha Hostetter; his wife Frances Helen Bassett; his son Timothy; his former wife Fran; his brothers, David and Albert; his children, Ruth Nietz (Denis) of Northwood, OH, Ed Hostetter, Jr. (Babette) of Pleasant Valley, NY, Suzanne Duryee (Brett) of Colorado Springs, CO, Tim Hostetter (Barbara) of Hyde Park, NY and Carol Phillips (James) of Newburgh, NY; his grandchildren, Joel Nietz (Lori), Dan Nietz (Andrea), Scott Nietz (Sarah), Danielle Carney (Rich), Tyler Hostetter, Courtney Lee (Bobby), Whitney Hostetter, Nicholas Hostetter, Louise Noble, Emilie Hostetter, Peter Hostetter, Benjamin Phillips, Nathaniel Phillips and Joshua Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Molly, Sadie, Gabrielle, Brady, Olivia, Zachary Nietz, Farrah and Aubrey Carney.
