Geneva G. Yarad Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2020, at the age of 76, Geneva G. Yarad of Northwood, Ohio, born in Slab Fork, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Esaw Paul and Lilly Augusta Cook. She is survived by: her husband John Yarad; her children, Lisa Sekela (John), Rebecca Turski (Rob), John Yarad (Amy) and Amanda Yarad (Nikki); her grandchildren, Michael Payden (Jessica), Courtney Sabo (Kurt), Mara Payden, Lauryn Yarad, Devon Turski (Carly), Alex Yarad and Joseph Yarad; her great grandchildren, Katie Sabo, Luke Payden and Gavin Sabo; and her siblings, Katherine Plumley (Harold), David Cook (LaRonda) and Eddie Cook (Annette). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a. m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 3754 Woodley Avenue, Toledo 43606, until the time of service at 11:00 a. m., where social distancing and masks are required.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral.
